Book Review Digest is a bibliographic database that cites
and provides excerpts of reviews of current English-language
fiction and nonfiction books. It indexes reviews from leading
periodicals published in the United States, Canada, and Great
Britain. Concise critical evaluations are culled from selected
journals in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences,
as well as library review media. Adult and children's books
are included. Over two million reviews, including citations,
generous excerpts from book reviews, over 225,000 full-text reviews,
and over 118,000 new reviews added each year.
A summary of the book is also provided.
Reviews of textbooks, government publications, and technical books
in the law and sciences are not included.
